Golf Course
|
|
Salobre Golf is a beautiful, palm studded 36 hole course. This is divided into two sections, the Salobre Golf North with 18 holes and the South with 18 holes.
Each hole played is of a high standard and amidst unforgettable, rolling landscape with views of the mountains, ravines and the occasional glimpse of the Atlantic that shape Gran Canaria.
For ladies there is a handicap of 36 and for the gentlemen 28.
The Golfer's heart will lift at the amenities on offer, practise area, putting green, driving range and Pro-Shop.

Golf Academy
|
|
The Salobre Golf Academy offers private instruction, with clubs and range balls included, from 30 €. This takes place on either the driving-range, the short game area or on the golf-course. All the instructors are highly qualified PGA professionals.
Reductions for hours or group prices is possible due to the wide range of golf packages on offer. Rounding this off is the possibility to book a Video-Swing-Analysis in order to effectively and quickly improve ones technique.
Get enthusiastic over the golf simulator (against a charge) in the Sheraton Salobre Hotel, use the golf-clubs on hire as well as the shoes and the buggies. Naturally, the Academy offers you lock-ups for your golf-bags.
For an extra charge one can relax in the Hydro-Massage Spa.

Offers of the Sheraton Salobre Hotel:
Don't worry about limits placed on the golf packages: An example is the "Unlimited Golf Package" as a special offer to the guests of the hotel at breakfast; unlimited green-fees on the Salobre Golf-course, a welcome drink or the free use of golf-buggies and a great deal more.
For the ladies as guests of the hotel, a "Ladies Golf Package": in addition to bed and breakfast you are able to take part in an organised shopping trip to Maspalomas. Here one can enjoy together with friends a demonstration of high-quality cosmetics or partake in a cocktail reception. This is just a taste of what is offered together with the green-fees and the free buggies.

Every good golf-academy boasts its own Pro-Shop and as to be expected it is located just a few metres from the Salobre Golf-course, adjacent to the club-house. Here you can find all the necessary equipment for your game or exquisite accessories such as cappies,T-shirts or gloves.
Opening times are the same as those of the golf-course.

Sheraton Salobre Hotel:
In and around the Sheraton Salobre Hotel there are numerous possibilities to taste international and Spanish cuisine.
The spacious modern main restaurant "Gofio" invites with an excellent breakfast and evening meal buffet. For those wishing to tempt their palate there is the luxury a-la-carte restaurant "Cameleon" offering Mediterranean cuisine.
On the other hand, "La Palmera" serves a tasty lunch, salads and fish dishes for 20 € with a view of the pool included.
For a leisurely bite or an a-la-carte menu the Tapas-Bar "Perequen" serves typical Spanish snacks.
Located on the 11th floor of the hotel one finds the "Sunset Bar" and the Alegria Bar", both showing a spectacular sweeping view across the vast grounds of the resort. Here is the unusual location for a swimming-pool with a white reclining area - a children free zone as it is not considered safe for the younger guests- where an unforgettable view makes this an unforgettable experience.
A place to get-together either during the daytime or in the evening is the "Lounge Bar 230" with an outside seating area for coffee or a fruity cocktail and live-music.
Sheraton Salobre Golf Course:
An additional pleasant spot to enjoy a meal is the gourmet Club-Restaurant with a terrace directly on the course, a view of both the mountains and the ravines.

Although the villas are just 5 to 10 min drive from the Maspalomas Beach, you may use the shuttle-bus service - directly to the ocean.

An excellent service from arrival to departure.
For 50€ a taxi can pick you up at the airport, bring you to your door or the reverse. For those preferring something more exquisite, a limousine service is to be had for 100€.
Normally arrival time is from 3 p.m. and departure till noontime but on request there is a possibility for an early check-in or later check-out.
If you prefer not do your own packing or unpacking then for an extra charge a valet service will do it for you.
Included in each of these villas is a welcome package.
